Sustainable Interior Design and Self Sustaining Furniture

Companies are working to change and lessen their environmental impact as a result of rising environmental consciousness around the world; this is true for both the furniture industry and the interior design industry.

Sustainable interior design should consider the effects of each stage, from raw materials to end of product life.

Indoor air quality is often 2-5 times more polluted than outdoor air quality, so it is important to select sustainable furniture to make places safer and healthier for people.

When choosing biodegradable furniture, such as vegetable fibbers, natural wood furniture, upholstered furniture with natural textiles, and cork furniture, you are reducing the impact on the environment and protecting people against allergies.

When choosing environmentally friendly finishings, eco furniture avoids VOCs, minimizing allergies, migraines and asthma.
